Son of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Setchel. Brother-in-law of Hiram J. Wambold of Los Angeles. Well known violinist. Graduated high school and entered newspaper work. Was working at Denver newspaper when he enlisted in April 1917. Trained at Camp Mills, Long Island and sailed fo France in October 1917. Served in field hospital sanitary train.
