Biography

Graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1961. Barbara Robbins was working undercover for the Central Intelligence Agency when she was killed. Up until 2011, the CIA didn't acknowledge her publicly because she had been undercover. She had volunteered to go to Saigon; when her Navy father veteran wondered about this she's known to have told him in no uncertain terms that when the Communists "get to West Colfax, mister, you'll wish you'd have done something." Also honored upon Memorial Wall at CIA headquarters and in the CIA Book of Honor. Awarded Medal of Honor First Class by South Vietnam.
