Attended Denver public schools and Colorado School of Mines. Graduated U.S. Military Academy in 1951. Member 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. Deployed to Korea October 1952. Seriously wounded by enemy fire on February 8, 1953 and died the next day. Awarded Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
