Biography

Son of Waldo and Sallie Miller. From southern Colorado. Member Battery C, 341st Field Artillery, 89th Division. Died when a gun burst while firing practice barrage preparatory to being sent into action. With its practice Battery C developed the premier gun crews of the 1st Battalion as proved by competitive tests. Initially buried at little graveyard near Camp de Souge with General Donnelly present at burial.
