U.S. Army appt., 2nd lieutenant, infantry section; Nov 27, 1917 - Company G 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division - Buried at: Plot A Row 2 Grave 86, Aisne-Marne American Cemetery. Roland Jackson (the third son) graduated from Harvard in 1915. He joined the U.S. Army in 1917. In 1918, Roland Jackson died during the Chateau Thierry Battle in France.
