Son of Jacob F. and Emma Carver Fisher. Married to Elsie G. Fisher. Served as civilian secretary with YMCA. Was in charge of the YMCA work in Paris. According to Washington Times "was known throughout this country for his untiring work in fighting vice in every form". While at Denver served as president of Christian Citizenship Union for 13 years and also president of State Christian Endeavor Union. Was also member of Law Enforcement League and a pioneer of Prohibition movement in Colorado. Served in Washington, D.C. before going overseas. While at Washington organized first Newcomers' Bible Class, children's milk fund, and Colorado Society which included majority of Colorado congressmen. Also worked in insurance with cousin Holcombe G. Johnson of Johnson & Adams, local mangers for Continental Casualty Company of Chicago.
