Biography

Daughter of John P. and Elna Erickson. Sister of Edith, Mildred and Dick H. Erickson and servicemen Ernest John Erickson of 41st Engineers, Alexander Erickson of 134th Machine Gun Company, and Walter Erickson of 342 Re-mount Squadron. Attended Central High School in Pueblo. Graduated Grant Place Hospital in Chicago and "had a splendid reputation as a nurse." Lived at San Francis. Became Assistant Superintendent of Bethel Hospital of Colorado Springs. Entered Army Nurse Corps and was stationed at Base Hospital 21 just outside Denver when called to Fort Logan where she died in service of taking care of sick troops.
