Son of Harvey L. and Mary A. Towne Doxsee. Brother of Charles W. Doxsee and Nellie M. Doxsee Rupert and Mildred Eunice Doxsee McMurtry. Member Company C, 1st Colorado Volunteers. Killed in action during offensive upon Antipolo and Morong. Was going ahead of his reconnaissance squad when they were fired upon by enemy from concealment.
