Son of Mr. and Mrs. Cal Casey. Brother of Carl Casey of The Dalles, Oregon, and Marjorie Casey Aureara of Columbus, Ohio, and half-brother of Mrs. Ester Frenzl of Otis. Husband of Julia M. Casey of Yuma, whom he married on November 15, 1935. Enlisted at Denver in 1942. First attached to cavalry troop at Fort Riley until injuring knee while training, after which he entered officers training school at Camp Hood.
