Son of Calvin Aaron and Margaret Elizabeth Wolfe Benner and grandson of Levi and Matilda Lantz Wolfe. Moved to Kansas and then to Colorado where he was drafted into the Army. Member Company L, 109th Infantry, 28th Division.
