Honoring Colorado’s Fallen Veterans
May 27-30, 2005

The Colorado Freedom Memorial Foundation and Studio 1430 presented “The Memorial Day Ride”, a Memorial Day Weekend fundraiser for the construction of the Colorado Freedom Memorial. Hand-cycle athletes and able-bodied bicycle riders joined together to ride from the Memorial Day Parade in Denver, through the cities of the metro area May 28th through May 30th. The ride was led by Artie Guerrero, a paralyzed Vietnam veteran, who is a board member of the Colorado Freedom Memorial Foundation and advocate for veteran’s rights. Studio 1430 and Jeep joined the Ride as sponsors along with Wells Fargo and the United Spinal Association.
