The Colorado Freedom Memorial, located in Aurora, honors those Colorado veterans killed in military action since we became a state. From the Spanish American War through today we have identified 6137 heroes who gave all and are named on the Colorado Freedom Memorial glass panels. We believe there may be names we’re missing.
Colorado Freedom Memorial Specialty License Plate Petition
The Colorado Freedom Memorial Specialty Plate will bring attention to the Memorial statewide where all 64 counties have at least two names on the CFM. This exposure will lead to families and those who served beside the fallen reaching out to insure their loved ones and comrades have been remembered.
3,000 signatures of Colorado licensed drivers must be submitted, and verified, for the CFM Specialty Plate to move forward for the State Legislatures approval.
