Son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Williams. Lived nearly all his life in Golden and according to Colorado Transcript "was one of the best known and best liked of Golden's young men." Graduated Golden High School in 1912. Entered service in July 1918 and received training at Fort Logan and Camp McArthur, Texas where he was assigned to Company 2, School Troop. Had 4 brothers and 1 sister including Irving Williams of Anaconda, Montana and Ed. Williams of Camp Travis, Texas. Awarded memorial honor certificate from France.
