Member 1st Signal Battalion, 1st Marine Division. Killed while attacking enemy positions near Seoul and presumed dead September 20, 1950. Remains never recovered. Awarded Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
