PFC Le Roy Felix Martinez had only been in our company (Co. A, 123rd Avn. Bn., 16th Group, Americal Div.) for about two weeks when he was injured/killed in a helicopter crash, serving as a doorgunner on UH-1H "Huey" aircraft. I am sorry I didn't get the chance to know this fine young man better. I will always remember him. 13 May 2009.
