Nicknamed "Ben". Also lived at Thomasville and Cardiff. Son of Harvey and Mae E. Biglow. Brother of Victor W., Ellen N., Burneil W., Keith R., Josephine E., Fleda C., Richard (Dick) and Maxine Biglow. Enlisted in aviation department of Army on December 10, 1917. Trained at Fort Logan, San Antonio, and Camp McArthur at Waco, Texas. Contracted measles and recovered sufficiently to be discharged from hospital January 2, 1918. On first day returned to duty he overtaxed his weakened body and developed terminal pneumonia. Family took him as far as Newton attempting to return him home before he passed away.
