PVT Becker was a member of the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division.

Richard Becker, uncle of Jerry Becker whom he had never met, was killed in Anzio Italy during WW2, PVT Becker and his four brothers served in the War and Richard was the only one that didn’t come home.  He is buried at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Italy.
