Son of James H. Agee. Brother of Thomas J. and James Warren Agee of Etterville; Robert L. Agee of Kansas City; Frank Agee of Windsor; Willard Agee of Craig, and Edison Agee of Powell Butte, Oregon, and sisters Sarah Frances Agee Norfleet of Eugene, Oregon, Nellie Agee, Mary Jane Agee Whittle, and Ilene Agee of Kansas City. Lived near Etterville until 1904 and then studied telegraphy at Central Business College at Sedalia, Missouri, completing his course at Denver. Worked for Union Pacific until enlisting on May 10, 1917. Member Company C, 1st Field Signal Battalion, 2nd Division. Member Eaton Lodge No. 109, A.F. & A.M. and Pierce Colorado Lodge No, 176, I.O.O.F. and Order of Railroad Telegraphers.
