08 Jun Highlights from Colorado Remembers Ceremony 2021
What an absolutely incredible week we had for the Colorado Freedom Memorial!! The Colorado Remembers event on Saturday, May 29th was beyond spectacular, it was the best we’ve ever had. Sen Bennett, Rep, Crow and Holocaust survivor Jack Adler were brilliant speaks and when Jack spoke, at age 92, an audience of near 1000 people was completely quiet, save for the crying from many who were moved by his words.
We want to thank everyone who joined us to commemorate those who have made the ultimate sacrifice!

Dachau survivor, Mr. Jack Adler, full speech along with unit history of 1-157th Infantry Regiment
On May 29, the historical 1st Battalion, 157th Infantry Battalion flag was permanently added to the Colorado Freedom Memorial to honor the 1-157th IR’s involvement in liberating the Dachau Concentration Camp. Mr. Jack Adler, survived Dachau and told his story as part of the event.
