A collection of artifacts from History Colorado will also be displayed along with steel from the World Trade Center Towers\, courtesy of the Freedom Flag Foundation\, and new CFM merchandise will be available for purchase. \n10 – 11 AM:  Colorado Freedom Memorial Ceremony \nHighlights of this year’s remembrance ceremony will include a ceremonial laying of wreaths\, the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard will perform ceremonial duties and the U.S. Air Force Drill Team will perform. There will also be a firing of a Howitzer by the Colorado Army National Guard\, tolling of the Honor Bell and a military flyover. \n11 AM – 1 PM: Static Military Displays & Tours of the Memorial\nFollowing the official ceremony\, attendees are invited to tour the memorial as well as visit the vehicles on display by the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of Colorado. History Colorado will be on site to share military artifacts from their vast collection and the 9-11 steel will also be on display.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Important Safety Rules… bags are subject to inspection. We’ll also be reading the names of all Colorado’s fallen from Iraq and Afghanistan and Cadets of the Civil Air Patrol will be placing a red rose at the Memorial and a yellow rose at the Gold Star Memorial as each name is read. \nOn display during the ceremony will be a 20lb piece of beam from WTC 1 (North Tower) obtained between the 92-95th floors.[/vc_column_text]View Event Flyer[/vc_column][/vc_row]
